College has four N.S.S. units with four full-time teachers as Programme Officers. The units function towards the attainment of the following objectives:
To encourage students to participate in social welfare activities
To instil a sense of civic responsibilities among the students
To develop leadership qualities among the students
To grow in them the ability to work as a team.
The students may enrol their names on submission of their applications to the concerned programme officers at the beginning of the session.
Free Health Check up Centre
The free health check up centre of the college runs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.on all working days excluding Saturday. Distinguished doctors are invited for giving free Medical assistance to the staff and students. The members of staff or students desirous of enrolling his/her name for free medical check up or for treatment of a physical disorder can enrol his/her name at least one day in advance in the Student Support Centre. Only primary health care is provided in the centre and in case of any complicated disease the patients are given advice for further treatment.
